Da quello che ho capito leggendo l&#8217;articolo, \u00e8  nel pubblico dominio la caratterizzazione dei personaggi attraverso le storie scritte da Conan Doyle prima del 1923 (cio\u00e8 90 anni fa), ma non \u00e8 possibile usare le informazioni usate nei libri successici (Conan Doyle mor\u00ec nel 1930).<br \/>\nNotate la differenza tra il copyright <b>sui libri<\/b> (che \u00e8 scaduto con i settant&#8217;anni dalla morte dell&#8217;autore, almeno in Europa) e il copyright <b>sui personaggi<\/b> che &#8211; almeno per la legge americana &#8211; dovrebbe se non sbaglio durare novant&#8217;anni. Questo significa che chiunque usasse i personaggi per fare delle <b>nuove<\/b> opere doveva sganciare soldi alla <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conandoyleestate.co.uk\/\">Conan Doyle Estate Ltd.<\/a><br \/>\nBelle cose, vero? Capirei al limite che ci sia per un certo periodo di tempo la possibilit\u00e0 di bloccare sviluppi che vadano contro lo spirito originale dell&#8217;opera, ma qua siamo davvero oltre ogni logica
