Nel caso della figura qui sotti anche la diagonale rispetta la regola. Annerite 30 caselle, in modo che ne rimanga solo una per riga e una per colonna, e che ci siano tutte e sei le cifre. Lo scopo \u00e8 completare la griglia nella parte di sinistra, sapendo che nella prima colonna dev&#8217;essere scritto dall&#8217;alto in basso quante cifre 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ci sono nello schema e nella seconda colonna quante cifre 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 ci sono. Il problema \u00e8 chiaramente che anche le cifre inserite contano per il totale! Pertanto inserire una cifra cambia i totali. Lo schema di sinistra \u00e8 un esempio completato: ci sono quattro 1, otto 2, due 3, due 4, due 5, tre 6, zero 7, un 8, zero 9 e tre 0.
