\"[copertina]\" Una volta c’era una distinzione tra i libri del Mondo Disco standard e i juveniles (pardon, “Discworld for younger readers”). Ora Pratchett ha deciso che la distinzione non c’\u00e8 pi\u00f9: in questo trentottesimo libro della saga (Terry Pratchett, I Shall Wear Midnight<\/em><\/a>, Corgi 2011 [2010], pag. 423, Lst. 6,99, ISBN 978-0-552-55559-3) i personaggi della serie principale qui non fanno solo da comparse, o per meglio dire ci sono personaggi di Ankh-Morpork che diventano coprotagonisti, oltre al ritorno in grande stile della protagonista di Sourcery<\/i>. Quello che rimane della categoria juveniles \u00e8 che la protagonista Tiffay Aching \u00e8 un’adolescente (sedici anni) e l’idea che il libro debba spiegare – nella maniera del Discworld, ma quello uno se lo aspetta – le cose della vita. Il pensiero di Pratchett sulla stregoneria \u00e8 sempre stato di due tipi diversi: da un lato c’\u00e8 quella che lui chiama “headology”, cio\u00e8 lavorare dal punto di vista psicologico, dall’altro quella che potremo chiamare magia per mancanza di una spiegazione scientifica. Questo vale anche per Tiffany, con la fregatura che una strega deve anche fare da medico e infermiere – ed \u00e8 quello che porta via pi\u00f9 tempo – e si trova comunque a essere odiata dalla gente che lei aiuta… per una ragione ben precisa. La storia si fa leggere bene, come al solito, anche se il finale \u00e8 piuttosto ovvio.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
