Oggi mi \u00e8 capitato di leggere questo articolo del NYT<\/a>, e sono rimasto piuttosto stupito. Non mi ha stupito che il cardinale di New York abbia scherzato, baciando per esempio l’inesistente anello di Stephen Colbert: ovvio che si sono preparati gli sketch in anticipo, in una discussione su come gioia e umorismo fanno parte della vita spirituale. D’altra parte, ho anche il sospetto che alla periferia dell’impero il cattolicesimo sia molto pi\u00f9 allegro di quello che vediamo in Italia. Mi ha stupito un po’ scoprire che Colbert \u00e8 cattolico praticante e insegna persino catechismo, o quello che \u00e8 la Sunday School: ma c’\u00e8 stata una cosa molto pi\u00f9 incredibile, per uno abituato a leggere i nostri quotidiani online.
