\"[copertina]\" Beh, della geometria del calcio (met\u00e0 del sottotitolo) non se ne parla molto, ma l’algoritmo dei tacchi a spillo in effetti c’\u00e8. Giovanni Filocamo, fisico prestato alla divulgazione matematica e impegnato nel progetto genovese MateFitness, in questa sua opera seconda (Giovanni Filocamo, Il matematico curioso<\/em><\/a>, Kowalski 2010, pag. 223, € 13, ISBN 978-88-7496-777-3) ha come programma proprio quanto scritto nel titolo: come cio\u00e8 un matematico curioso pu\u00f2 trovare pi\u00f9 o meno ovunque tracce della scienza che lui (o lei) ama. Lo stile di scrittura \u00e8 molto, molto personale: per dare un’idea a chi mi conosce, io in confronto sono assolutamente asettico. I temi trattati sono pi\u00f9 o meno noti, e risultano pi\u00f9 o meno interessanti forse anche a seconda di quanto Filocamo li senta suoi; i primi capitoli mi sono sembrati pi\u00f9 scoppiettanti, mentre poi \u00e8 forse subentrata un po’ di stanchezza. Il libro \u00e8 comunque in grado di far venire (spero!) un po’ di curiosit\u00e0 al lettore, soprattutto perch\u00e9 di formule non ce ne sono e quindi non c’\u00e8 necessit\u00e0 di spaventarsi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
