Gabriele mi ha mandato un link a un articolo che racconta come Microsoft stia sviluppando un nuovo linguaggio funzionale di programmazione, che si chiamer\u00e0 F#<\/a>. (In due parole: in genere i linguaggi di programmazione tendono ad avere come operazione di base l’assegnazione di un valore a una variabile, mentre in questo caso si ha come operazione di base il calcolo del valore di una funzione<\/em>).
\nIl nome dovrebbe essere un doppio gioco di parole, richiamando il C# sempre di Microsoft (che si legge “see sharp”, vedi chiaro) con l’iniziale F per function\/funzione. Ma anni e anni di strimpellio della chitarra me lo fanno leggere come “fa diesis”; e la prima associazione che mi viene in mente \u00e8 quella con il C, cio\u00e8 il do. La distanza tra un do e un fa diesis \u00e8 di tre toni, e nella musica medievale questo intervallo, il tritono, viene chiamato “diabolico” perch\u00e9 per nulla armonico.
