L&#8217;autore afferma &#8220;ho scelto i problemi che mi piacevano di pi\u00f9 e li ho raccolti&#8221;, il che \u00e8 indubbiamente una Buona Cosa; per\u00f2 bisogna dire che i quasi cinquant&#8217;anni passati si sentono eccome, un po&#8217; per il linguaggio usato che \u00e8 piuttosto difficile per chi come me non \u00e8 madrelingua e un po&#8217; per lo stile dei problemi stessi. Bisogna dire per\u00f2 che si sente l&#8217;amore che l&#8217;autore ha per la matematica, e che viene mostrato nelle introduzioni ai vari capitoli. E alcuni dei problemi sono davvero carini, mentre nessuno di essi \u00e8 troppo complicato.
