\nQuesta raccolta di problemi matematici presentati alle Olimpiadi della Matematica (Titu Andreescu e Razvan Gelca, Mathematical Olympiad Challenges<\/em><\/a>, Birkh\u00e4user, pag. 260, $29.95 , ISBN 0-8176-4155-6) \u00e8 davvero tosta. Delle tre sezioni (Geometria e trigonometria, Algebra e analisi, Teoria dei numeri e combinatorica) di cui il libro \u00e8 composto, ho saltato a pi\u00e9 pari la prima, ma anche nelle altre due mi sono trovato davvero a malpartito. Diciamo che questi non sono “problemi” matematici ma vere e proprie sfide; per\u00f2 se vogliamo vedere le cose in maniera pi\u00f9 ottimista aggiungo che i problemi sono spiegati molto bene, e che le introduzioni alle varie sezioni danno anche delle idee generali per capire come si possano affrontare gli esercizi. Insomma, non \u00e8 un libro da consigliare alla leggera, ma sono certo che i veri pazz… ehm, appassionati della matematica potranno trovare ottimi spunti.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
