Quando gli hanno fatto notare che non poteva scrivere due storie del Discworld l&#8217;anno oltre a tutto il resto, ha formalmente acconsentito: adesso ne esce una solamente, ma poi c&#8217;\u00e8 un juvenile solamente ambientato l\u00e0, come questa sua nuova fatica (Terry Pratchett, <em>The Wee Free Men<\/em>, Corgi 2004, p. 320, 5\u00a3.99 ISBN 0-552-55186-4). &#8220;Wee&#8221; significa &#8220;piccoli&#8221; in quella specie di gaelico che gli gnomi protagonisti della storia usano, e che spesso d\u00e0 qualche problema di comprensione a chi non \u00e8 di madrelingua inglese. La storia \u00e8 nei perfetti canoni di un racconto fantasy, e bisogna dire che il genio narrativo del nostro non viene quasi mai dispiegato. Se conoscete la filosofia pratchettiana sapete insomma cosa aspettarvi, nella solita piacevole confezione; altrimenti, forse \u00e8 meglio iniziare con
