S\u00ec, nel film gli altri ragazzini finiscono in situazioni un po&#8217; preoccupanti, ma nulla di grave. Il guaio almeno per un pauroso come me \u00e8 che in genere nei suoi racconti, qui riuniti in un unico volume, (Roald Dahl,  <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2PBHukK\"><em>Tutti i racconti<\/em><\/a>, Longanesi 2009, pag. 825, &euro; 26, ISBN 9788830426849, vari traduttori) Dahl \u00e8 troppo bravo a creare un&#8217;atmosfera davvero creepy. Dopo la sua prima raccolta &#8211; che stranamente non \u00e8 quella con cui parte il libro &#8211; che \u00e8 pi\u00f9 autobiografica e legata alla seconda guerra mondiale, Dahl comincia a creare ambientazioni che sembrano quasi reali, tipicamente con qualcuno che cerca di truffare qualcuno oppure una coppia ormai in crisi; avvinghia il lettore e aggiunge particolari del tutto inverosimili ma che almeno a me fanno paura.
