A parte i ponti di K\u00f6nigsberg e il problema &#8220;acqua luce e gas&#8221;, non se ne parla molto, un po&#8217; per la complessit\u00e0 della materia &#8211; basti pensare che il teorema dei quattro colori \u00e8 stato risolto solo con il computer &#8211; non si trova molto materiale in giro. Ecco dunque l&#8217;utilit\u00e0 di questo libro (Peter M. Higgins, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2goCkU4\">Nets, Puzzles and Postmen<\/a><\/em>, Oxford University Press 2009, pag. 247, $24.95, ISBN 9780199218431), che permette ai lettori che non si lasciano spaventare dal trovarsi un po&#8217; di conti (soprattutto nell&#8217;ultimo capitolo, che \u00e8 una specie di appendice) una panoramica dei temi e metodi in questo campo, e i legami con altri campi apparentemente diversi. Lo stile \u00e8 chiaro, e i pi\u00f9 avventurosi possono provare a cimentarsi con i problemi sparsi nel testo e risolti nelle ultime pagine. Ma anche senza mettersi cos\u00ec in gioco \u00e8 davvero bello scoprire come da un lato ci sono risultati a prima vista ostici che si possono dimostrare facendo poco pi\u00f9 di qualche conto banale, e dall&#8217;altra che risultati apparentemente banali sono ancora al di fuori delle nostre capacit\u00e0. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ottimo approccio alla teoria dei
